Not everything has to be perfect to be useful. Rescue Corner is for clothing, jewellery and accessories that may be too worn or damaged to sell normally, but still have useful fabric, buttons, zips, buckles, beads or other parts that can be reused.

What we accept

Rescue Corner is for items that may no longer be suitable for normal resale, but still have useful parts or materials that someone else could reuse.

We may accept:

• Clothing with damaged zips, missing buttons, small tears or worn areas
• Fabric that could be reused for sewing, patchwork or crafts
• Buttons, zips, buckles, clasps and other fastenings
• Lace, trims, ribbons and decorative details
• Broken or incomplete costume jewellery for beads, charms and findings
• Bags, belts and accessories with reusable straps, hardware or fittings
• Other small textile or accessory items suitable for repair or upcycling

Items should still be clean, dry and safe to handle. We won’t accept anything heavily soiled, mouldy, wet or contaminated.

How it works

Rescue Corner items may be offered free or at a very low price for repairs, crafting or upcycling.

If you have something that may be suitable, submit it through our usual item form and let us know it’s for Rescue Corner.

We’ll review it and decide whether it could be useful to someone else.

If it’s listed, the condition will always be clearly described so people know exactly what they’re getting.
